I am a bit puzzled. I am working on a hosted WordPress site and for some reason, both JetPack Contact Forms and GuiForm can't send e-mails. The forms themselves work and state that the message has been sent and they are also getting logged within WordPress (if functionality is provided as in JetPack).
Also new user notification works (it at first didn't but I installed the WP SMTP plugin which allows to set the sender mail (from wordpress@domain.com to actualemail@domain.com). Also I checked the mail servers logs and when user notifications were sent, the server stated the email (wordpress@domain.com) doesn't exist, so I solved this problem. However, when I use Jetpack and GuiForm, nothing shows in the mail log.
I believe the error is with PHP mail function and the WP_sendmail. WP_sendmail works (I can send newsletters with Mailpoet for example, but if it's PHP it fails I think.
Anyone has an idea what I can do to fix this?
