oa-annonce on "[Plugin: WP-SpamShield Anti-Spam] Contac form, message arrives seven times"

I am testing WP-SpamShield Anti-Spam on one Wordpress 4.0.1 installation. I use [spamshieldcontact] on two different pages. When the contact form is used, the resulting email message is delivered 7 times, which is a bit overkill. Can I reduce this number to 1 somehow, or is it a bug?
