Hi everyone!
I'm new to using Wordpress, and I was the (unfortunate) one to be asked to help edit a business website. After looking into it, I wanted to add the Contact Form 7 Plug-in to the website. However, after downloading and clicking the activate (or something) button, I IMMEDIATELY received this error:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_textdomain_loaded() in /home/content/k/h/a/khanglau/html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 247"
And the website crashed, not able to log back in to remove this plug-in. Some background information, I DID NOT set up this webpage, so I do not have any wordpress files saved onto my harddrive. Ontop of that, the person who did create this webpage, no longer works for the company. So we should assume original files are un-available.
A suggestion I heard was that I should go to FireZilla and access the file. I thought I was close to getting in, it accepted the USER name but then.... it said:
Command: PASS *******
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server
Can someone please help? I feel horrible, someone's business website is down due to downloading this plug-in. I an unable to log in through wordpress.org, and the only way I was taught to log-in was through the website, then the login button on the bottom.
