Karissa Skirmont on "[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Contact Form emails not sending when you have GoDaddy as host and email provider"

Tonight I discovered that there were missed messages over the last couple months in the feedback tab for two client sites that are in a Multisite install.

After troubleshooting and trying the solutions in these threads:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/jetpack-contact-form-not-sending-emails-1
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/jetpack-contact-form-not-sending-emails
I knew something was wrong.

When I used http://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/ and sent the emails to two of the clients email addresses, I wouldn't receive them. But when I sent to my own email address that also was a GoDaddy one (but not cPanel), I would get them.

I contacted GoDaddy and after sending test emails that I DID get, got the ‘can’t help- third party’ spiel till I finally got transferred to someone in advance support.

He knew right away what to try and fixed it in 30 seconds flat.

So since the other threads are old and closed, I have to post a new thread so others can try these steps to fix this odd-ball issue.

If you have C-Panel hosting and email with GoDaddy you need do the following:

Go to Hosting CPanel > Email > MC Entry
From there select domain from the dropdown.
Under ‘Email Routing’ click ‘Remote Mail Exchanger’ then ‘Change’.

Here is an screenshot of where it is: http://i.imgur.com/EO3CPJu.png.

Viola, it may start working like mine did.

Hopes that helps someone.
Karissa
